Henderson Homes Named Best Boutique Housebuilder
Henderson Homes has fought off competition from across the region to secure the coveted title of ‘Best Boutique Housebuilder’ in prestigious construction and property industry awards, ‘The Grafters’.
Established to honour those working across all aspects of the construction and property sector, from architects and interior designers to property managers and chartered surveyors, The Grafters relies on votes from the public and industry professionals to identify it’s winners.
Henderson Homes received the most votes in it’s categories over the two week voting period and was received the accolade at a glamourous awards ceremony in Manchester.
Henderson Homes was established over 60 years ago and is a third generation family business now run by the founder’s grandson, Max Henderson; a resident of Wilmslow.
In the last twelve months, Max and his team have completed high quality developments on Fletsand Road, Daveylands and Manchester Road in Wilmslow, on Macclesfield Road in Alderley Edge and on Brookside Close in Cheadle; all of which have sold off plan. Work is also underway on two detached properties in Goostrey, one of which was sold off plan on release, and a scheme of canalside cottages in Bollington.
The business has also expanded to incorporate a private commissions team, Henderson Curtis, which offers comprehensive design, build and project management solutions to private individuals looking to build their own home as well as investors and developers.
Says Max, “The fact that this award came from a public and peer vote makes it all the more satisfying. We’re very proud of the work we do and strive to achieve the highest standards of design, craftsmanship and finish at every stage. The last twelve months have been very exciting and we’ve completed and sold even more properties than previous years demonstrating an increased desire locally for distinctive, well-built homes.
