Henderson Homes Finalist in the Northern Design Awards 2017
Henderson Homes is celebrating being shortlisted five times by an awards judging panel that includes world-renowned designers such as Wayne Hemmingway, Linda Barker, Susie Rumbold, George Bond and Nick Munro.
Three Wilmslow based properties, Maple House and Seven Steps on Fletsand Road and a basement conversion at Southbank on Daveylands, have secured five finalists places in three different award categories in the prestigious 2017 Northern Design Awards.
The annual awards ceremony celebrates the very best of northern property development and design and attracts hundreds of entries from homebuilders, architects, interior designers, commercial developers and designers from across the north of England.
Maple House and Seven Steps have both been shortlisted in the highly competitive ‘Best Residential Build’ and ‘Best Interior Design’ categories with Southbank, by Henderson Homes’ contractor business Noble Projects, chosen as a finalist for ‘Best Conversion’.
Says Henderson Homes MD, Max Henderson, “Each home was a private commission designed and built to our clients’ individual requirements so its a fantastic achievement for us all to have the properties singled out for commendation by such an accomplished judging panel.
“To have claimed two of the eight shortlist places in the coveted ‘Best Residential Build category is particularly gratifying. It’s the 65thanniversary of our family business next year and it would be fantastic to be able to mark that milestone with this award; my grandfather would have been very proud,” he added.
The winners will be announced at a glamourous awards ceremony on Friday 24th November at The Principal Hotel in Manchester. Designer and NDA judge, Linda Barker, praises the awards, saying; ‘It’s a privilege to be part of the illustrious judging panel and to be part of the growing phenomena that is ‘The Northern Design Awards’. The award ceremony is always one of the most glamorous events in my diary, a fabulous event that celebrates the power of the North’.
