Henderson Homes Finalist in Northern Design Awards 2016

‘Beaufort’ in Alderley Edge has earned Henderson Homes a place in the finals of the North’s most prestigious property awards, for ‘best new build home’.

The annual award ceremony celebrates design excellence in residential and commercial property and boasts a judging panel of world-renowned designers, including Wayne Hemmingway, Linda Barker, George Bond, Nick Munro and HRH Princess Katarina, amongst many others.

‘Beaufort’ was designed in conjunction with Styal based architect Annabelle Tugby, formerly of Stephenson Bell in Manchester.  The property is located within a secluded plot at the end of a private lane and offers around 3,700 sq ft of living accommodation with an open plan kitchen/dining room and family room stretching across the back of the home and opening out onto the landscaped gardens, a lounge with full height corner window, ground floor guest suite and study as well as four generous bedrooms with the master offering expansive views over the Cheshire Plains.

Says Managing Director, Max Henderson, “The competition at the Northern Design Awards is always spectacularly high so we’re very honoured to have made it through to the finals.  We loved working on this property and were so proud of the finished result.  It’s amazing to now have that effort recognised by such an esteemed judging panel.”

Finalists will attend a glamourous awards ceremony staged at The Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds on Friday 11th November, where the winner of each of the Awards’ 29 categories will be announced.  Other award categories include Design in Retail, Commercial Design and Interior Design.
